Environmental Policy
Williamson-Dickie Europe Ltd designs, procures, and distributes clothing and footwear. This environmental policy relates to the Environmental Management System of Williamson-Dickie Europe Ltd, which is designed, implemented and maintained according to the BS EN ISO 14001:2005 standard.
Williamson-Dickie Europe Ltd is committed to the prevention of pollution resulting from its business activities where feasible. Environmental aspects and impacts are described in the Environmental Management System Manual, along with their relevant controls. It is the policy of Williamson-Dickie Europe Ltd to comply with all relevant environmental legislation. The business will also consider the environmental requests and concerns of interested parties.
The Environmental Policy and Management System are reviewed during six-monthly management review meetings, and the Environmental Management System is also audited every 12 months.
Williamson-Dickie Europe Ltd is committed to the continual improvement of the Environmental Management System, and this is achieved through the setting of objectives and targets, relating to the environmental aspects and impacts of the business. Objectives and targets are reviewed during internal audits, environmental management group meetings, and management review meetings.
The business is committed to achieving the following policy objectives.
- To reduce, reuse, and / or recycle waste where it is feasible to do so.
- To communicate relevant information regarding the environmental management system to staff, and to encourage staff to be aware of their environmental impacts.
- To investigate ideas and opportunities for further environmental improvements.
